Stay up to date with the renovation process of the first five-star hotel in the free State of Saxony
Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden will undergo a luxurious and full renovation as of 3 January 2023.
Originally opened in 1995, the traditional grand hotel set new service and design standards in Saxony during this time and still sets them today. Almost 28 years of five-star hospitality later, Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden is closing for a full renovation.
The Taschenbergpalais lobby, rooms and suites as well as the Café Vestibuel are being extensively renovated according to the highest standards of contemporary and luxurious interior design and equipped with new highlights. At the same time, the technical facilities are also being modernised with a focus on sustainability.
The restaurants and partners located in the Taschenbergpalais, such as Paulaner’s, Sophienkeller, Café Apotheke, Juwelier Leicht, Walentowski Galerien, TimeRide, Kids up to date and the APCOA underground car park under the Palais, will remain open for you.
On 9 November 2023, the Kastenmeiers fish restaurant returned to the Taschenbergpalais, welcoming its guests in its regular establishment.
You will not be denied the culinary service of the five-star hotel – our catering team will operate throughout the temporary closing, and the luxurious offering will be extended.
