Alpine Delights at the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden

Dresden, November 2024—♫‘...Every year...’♫, the famous Striezelmarkt attracts visitors to Dresden’s Old Town with its lights and Christmas scents. From 25 November 2024 to February 2025, guests can enjoy a luxurious winter atmosphere in the impressive inner courtyard of the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden, housed in a cosy Alpine chalet.

Dark wooden tables, a harmonious lighting concept and cosy seating create an authentic Alpine winter ambience, complemented by delicious fondue specialities. Guests can choose from the ‘Alpengold cheese fondue’, made from Swiss Vacherin and Gruyère cheeses, and the ‘Gipfelfeuer meat fondue’, featuring a selection of the finest veal fillet or corn-fed poulard. The menu is rounded off with selected starters, salads and desserts. Perfectly paired wines from the Austrian winery Leo Hillinger complete the culinary experience.

Another highlight in the hotel’s inner courtyard is a charming mulled wine stand, designed in the form of a heated lounge. Here, both Dresdeners and hotel guests can enjoy winter drink specialities without a reservation, while soaking in the festive mood created by the picturesque lighting of the atmospherically illuminated inner courtyard.

With 45 seats, the Almhütte offers the ideal setting for exclusive Christmas parties, stylish New Year’s receptions and festive year-openers. Two service times each evening ensure smooth operations: the first seating begins at 17:30 and the second at 20:00. An optional supporting programme can be tailored to individual preferences, including stories from the Saxon Court by Countess Cosel, house and city tours or live music.

One thing is clear: this winter you don’t even have to travel to the mountains to experience real Alpine flair...
