Perfect for events with up to 265 attendees
The centre of Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna’s banqueting area is the ballroom. With 277 sq m (2,982 sq ft) of space, the ballroom is the largest function room of the hotel and is perfect for events with up to 265 attendees. Therefore, it is also the most ideal location for gala dinners, wedding celebrations, press conferences, large-scale meetings and symposiums. Depending on the number of guests and individual needs, the ballroom can be divided into two separate areas measuring 132 sq m (1,421 sq ft) and 145 sq m (1,561 sq ft).
The typical style of Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna is also featured in the ballroom. There are historical decorative elements, such as the pillars in the foyer and the chandeliers, while the furniture is of a modern design and warmly coloured. On top of that, the ballroom is set in one of the former inner courtyards with a glass ceiling, allowing natural light to illumine the room. It is also possible to dim the room completely if this is requested by our guests. The modern technical setup allows lights to be controlled individually. Two projectors and two screens allow simultaneous projections. Upon request, our team can also set up a dance floor and stage.
The whole banqueting area of Palais Hansen Kempinski is located in a separate area of the hotel that can be operated independently. As a result, the banqueting area can be entered both from the hotel and from a separate entrance. As breakout spaces, the vestibule or the column-lined foyer are convenient for coffee breaks and small talks in-between events. For smooth operational handling, materials can be delivered to the ballroom directly. A lift specifically for goods and supplies is available to provide the perfect infrastructure for events with an extensive setup.
