Apple and Honey Feast of the Saviour at Hotel Baltschug

From 14 to 27 August, Hotel Baltschug Kempinski presents a new seasonal offer – dishes with apples and honey.

The special menu from the hotel's Chef Andrey Kagokin can be tasted in the Café Kranzler, on the summer terrace and in the Lobby Lounge bar.

Apples are probably one of the most popular fruits in our country. They are a natural source of vitamins; they are eaten fresh, cooked in many different dishes, made into jam and jelly, marshmallow and marmalade. Fragrant honey is also often used in cooking, as the taste of many products becomes brighter and more intense when adding apples or honey. Enjoy the special seasonal menu from the hotel's Chef Andrey Kagokin and you may want to repeat our signature recipes at home:

  • Green salad with apple, celery and Kamchatka crab under "Cocktail" sauce
  • Salad with apple, beef loin, mixed salad, sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms with honey-mustard dressing
  • Celery root cream soup with apple chutney
  • Duck breast with apples, honey dressing and baked carrot puree
  • Tarte Taten (green apples, caramel, sablé Breton) with vanilla ice cream
  • Apple baklava (almonds, pistachios, apples, filo dough, honey) with pistachio ice-cream
  • Apple dessert: a combination of different textures of Granny Smith apple

In addition to these dishes, the new menu includes drinks: the cocktail "Apple Martini"
and tea "Big Green Apple" based on Te Guan Yin and Saigang Dale.
