The room price includes the entrance to Kempinski The Spa, and on the departure day, the spa can be used until 12:00pm (midday).

Kempinski The Spa is a popular destination to relax, unwind and enjoy the spectacular Bavarian Alps. We do welcome non-hotel-guests to enjoy our spa for the day, and recommend you book in advance.

Monday – Thursday

Day (four hours): Single EUR 40, Couple EUR 70 with Spa Treatment (two hours)* free of charge

Friday – Sunday

Day (four hours): Single EUR 55, Couple EUR 100 with Spa Treatment (two hours)* free of charge

The DaySpa Pass includes:

  • Use of Swimming pool, Thermal facilities
  • Use of Relaxation area
  • Personal locker and bathrobe and slippers
  • Amenities (including hairdryer and personal grooming items)

*The DaySpa Pass is complimentary for all guests who book a spa treatment of 50 minutes’ duration or longer, and is limited to two hours’ use of the Spa facilities.

Parking garage fees are EUR 20 per day, while parking lot fees are EUR 10 per day.

No, currently we do not offer brunch on Sunday.

Located in the Bavarian Alps at an altitude of 1,000 m, offering a panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden valley, Salzburger Land and the Watzmann massif, the hotel is nevertheless very accessible by Deutsche Bahn railway, road or air.

Kempinski The Spa features a 1,400 sq m (15,070 sq ft) wellness area with indoor and heated outdoor pools, herbal Finnish sauna, steam bath with colour therapy, meditation lounge with floating water beds as well as a solarium and physiotherm infrared cabin. A multitude of different seasonal and regional inspired massages, beauty and body treatments are on offer.

Earliest check-in is 3:00pm, while check-out is at 12:00 midday.

The breakfast buffet hours at the Restaurant Johann Grill are: 

Monday to Saturday, 7:30 am to 12:00 midday
Sunday, 7:30 am to 1:00 pm

From the train station in Berchtesgaden, a taxi will bring you to the hotel in around 10 minutes. You could also take the bus (No. 838), which will bring you to the hotel within 15 minutes.
