Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow opens the asparagus season, and Chef Andrey Kagokin is ready to delight guests with this exquisite specialty.

The asparagus menu is available at Café Kranzler, on the summer terrace, and when ordering via room service.

White asparagus goes well with other vegetables and a variety of sauces. It can be eaten cold or hot, served as a main course or as a side dish to meat or fish. Young asparagus shoots are tender and soft; they are healthy, rich in vitamins and microelements, and low in calories.

The menu, from Chef Andrey Kagokin, presents tender white asparagus with potatoes, parsley, classic Dutch sauce and melted butter (RUB 2,500). White asparagus can be accompanied by Coppa di Parma (RUB 800), smoked salmon (RUB 950), salmon steak (RUB 2,100), baked chicken breast with spices (RUB 900) or Viennese schnitzel (RUB 1,100).
