Dubai Fountains

Set on Burj Khalifa Lake, overlooked by the world’s tallest building, the Dubai Fountain is an unmissable experience and always one of the biggest highlights of a trip to the city. Created by WET Design at a cost of $168 million, the attraction is capable of spraying up to 83,000 litres of water at a time.

Drawing an estimated ten million visitors per year, the spectacular display of light, music and water is an incredible meeting of art and engineering. Water jets 150 metres into the air while over 6,600 lights and 25 colour projectors create an illuminated display set to music – we recommend visiting after dark to get the full effect!

Performances take place at 1pm and 1:30pm, as well as every 30 minutes between 6pm and 10pm on weekdays, and 6pm and 11pm on weekends. There is a huge list of accompanying music, from traditional Arabic and classical music to Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson songs. Even if you have been before, the experience is different every time.

Visiting the fountain is free of charge – simply turn up and take your place. For 65 AED per person, the Dubai Fountain Lake Ride offers the chance to view it from the vantage point of a boat as it travels all around the attraction – perhaps the perfect surprise gift for a loved one, or a unique way to entertain the whole family.

The Dubai Fountain is just a 20-minute drive from Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. If you are planning to visit this magical attraction, we can offer guests a limousine transfer service if required.
