European Festive Treats at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok

Bangkok, 10 October 2014Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok invites family and friends to enjoy endless festive fun with a variety of culinary offers, delightful entertainment and exciting activities that promise to make the upcoming holidays unforgettable.

From 30 November 2014, the opulent lobby will be transformed into a traditional European Christmas Market with an outstanding four-meter decorated Christmas tree and two life-sized edible gingerbread houses to welcome the festive joy. Meet and greet our Santa Claus at the Christmas Market and join him daily from 1 – 24 December 2014 at 18:00 for the opening of the Advent Calendar, a tradition that originates from Germany, to countdown until Christmas day. One lucky person will win a lucky draw prize each day of which some of the exciting prizes include a two-night stay in a Duplex Cabana (with direct pool access) for two, a spa loyalty card from Kempinski The Spa with a treatment value of THB 65,000 and several sumptuous restaurant vouchers.

A collection of the Kempinski Shopping Bag Hamper will be available in four different sets; Classic, Deluxe, Prestige, and Extravagant; with prices starting from THB 3,200. Each will be accompanied by the Siam Kempinski signature teddy bear.

Festive Afternoon Tea

At Hanuman Bar, a traditional afternoon tea set will be served with a festive twist throughout the month of December. Indulge in some of the mouth-watering treats prepared by Pastry Chef Alfred Merkel and his team, including turkey rolls served with cranberry sauce and stuffing; a selection of finger sandwiches; freshly-baked scones served with homemade clotted cream and jam; as well as the traditional Christmas stolen and other sweet delicacies.

Time: 14:00 – 18:00 daily from 30 November to 31 December 2014.

Price: THB 900* per set for two or THB 1,200*, including a glass of Chandon sparkling wine 

Christmas Eve (Wednesday, 24 December 2014)

Brasserie Europa - Celebrate Christmas Eve with loved ones in a beautiful surrounding. Choose to dine in comfort in the air-con or chill-out under the stars on our outdoor terrace as we serve you famous Thai papaya salad directly from the boat. The spectacular buffet and live cooking stations feature traditional roasted turkey in gravy and cranberry sauce, a variety of premium seafood on ice, sushi and sashimi, imported oysters, varieties of foie gras preparations, pastas, steaks, as well as Christmas-themed sweets.

Time: 18:30 – 22:30

Priced at THB 4,750* per person with free-flow Moët & Chandon Imperial Rosé and other selected alcoholic beverages; THB 3,800* with free-flow juices and soft drinks; and THB 1,900* for children aged 6 – 12 years old (below 6 are complimentary).

Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin – Embark on the culinary journey of this award-winning modern Thai restaurant with all-time favourite dishes, thoughtfully selected by a Michelin-starred chef Henrik Yde-Anderson. The Christmas Eve ten-course set menu highlights Kiin Kiin’s signature dishes; frozen red curry with baby lobster salad and litchi foam; scallops with tamarind and lemongrass; stir-fried foie gras with ginger; and banana cake with salted coconut ice cream. Each dish can be thoughtfully complimented with your choice of fine wine, cocktails or juices.

Priced at THB 3,500* per person, including a ten-course dinner (food only).

Christmas Day (Thursday, 25 December 2014)

Brasserie Europa - Start Christmas Day right by inviting family and friends to enjoy lunch in a beautiful surrounding. Enjoy a scrumptious feast from the buffet station, featuring traditional roasted turkey in gravy and cranberry sauce, a variety of mouth-watering seafood, as well as freshly cooked à-la-carte main courses served both in Western and Asian style, and yuletide sweet treats. Santa Clause will pay a visit with small gifts for the little ones while the live band keeps you entertained throughout the afternoon.

Time: 12:00 – 16:00

Priced at THB 4,200* per person with free-flow Moët & Chandon Imperial Rosé and selected alcoholic beverages; THB 2,900* with free-flow juices and soft drinks; and THB 1,450* for children aged 6 – 12 (below 6 are complimentary). 

New Year’s Eve (Wednesday, 31 December 2014)

Brasserie Europa, Niche and Rotunda Pool Bar – Three restaurants turn exclusively into one to celebrate the year’s end under the stars with a feast of food, drinks, and entertainment at the New Year’s Eve Garden Dinner. Delight yourself and your loved ones with the extravagant buffet and live cooking stations, featuring lobster caviar salad, imported seafood on ice; oysters, roasted beef, lamb and grilled seafood, as well as a variety of Asian and Western favourites and mouth-watering homemade desserts. Stay up until midnight and join us ring-in the New Year with beautiful fireworks.

Priced at THB 5,800* per person for free-flow juices and soft drinks with a glass of Moët & Chandon Imperial Rosé to celebrate the countdown; and THB 2,900* for children aged 6 – 12.

Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin – Countdown the new year with a special eleven-course set menu of modern Thai-inspired cuisine, prepared by a Michelin-starred Chef Henrik Yde-Anderson. Highlights include: caviar with lime sorbet; foie gras with ginger and plum sauce; rib-eye beef with ginger and porcini mushrooms to name a few.

Priced at THB 5,200* per person, including an eleven-course dinner (food only) and a glass of Moët & Chandon Imperial Rosé.

New Year’s Day (Thursday, 1 January 2015)

Brasserie Europa – Start the New Year with a delightful lunch buffet featuring a variety of mouth-watering seafood, freshly cooked à-la-carte main courses with both Western and Asian favourites, as well as homemade sweets and savouries.

Time: 12:00 – 17:00

Priced at THB 3,150* per person with free-flow Moët & Chandon Imperial Rosé and selected alcoholic beverages; THB 2,200* with free-flow juices and soft drinks; and THB 1,100* for children aged 6 – 12 (below 6 are complimentary).
