FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS AT SIAM KEMPINSKI HOTEL BANGKOK

BANGKOK, 2 October 2017 The Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is celebrating the 2017 festive season with remarkable culinary offers and enchanting entertainment.

From November 2017, Hanuman Bar unveils its 2017 Festive Hampers featuring Christmas fruit cake festive-flavoured macaroons, Christmas cookies, Dresdner stollen, Christmas pudding, festive-enhanced granola and more.

The Heritage hamper is priced at THB 3,900 plus VAT per set. The Connoisseur is priced at THB 7,000 plus VAT per set.

A personalised hamper option is also available where customers simply select items from the á la carte collection.

These top quality hampers are perfect gifts for family, friends and business associates. They are available for purchase from 1 November 2017 to 15 January 2018 in the hotel lobby.

On Thursday 23 November 2017, Brasserie Europa invites families and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving with traditional dinner from 18:30 to 22:30 hrs. The dinner is priced at THB 3,000++ per adult with free-flow alcoholic beverages, THB 1,900++ per adult (dinner only) and THB 950++ per child (aged 6 – 12 years).

This traditional feast features slow-cooked butterball Turkey with traditional stuffing and gravy, roasted USA prime rib with red wine jus, honey glazed ham with mustard, roasted pumpkin bisque with pumpkin seed and pumpkin oil soup, served at your table plus Maryland crab cake with chipotle sour cream and pastrami ‘Rueben’ sandwich with thousand island dressing served as pass around items.

The buffet also includes Brasserie Europa’s fabulous ‘Seafood on Ice’ with snow crab legs, tiger prawn, scallops (in shells), oysters and mussels with traditional condiments.

The extravagant dessert station is a fitting finale to this annual Thanksgiving celebration with traditional pumpkin pie, cranberry pie, red velvet cake, maple cheesecake with roasted apples, rhubarb clafoutis, premium ‘Dulcey’ chocolate fountain with a variety of condiments and American doughnuts.

From 1 December 2017, Capture the festive atmosphere at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok as the hotel joins hands once again with BE Health Association to host a series of Christmas carol performances by children from Chumchon Moobaan Pattana School in Bangkok’s Klong Toey district. The performances are an important element in the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility calendar.

Witness these moving performances while celebrating the spirit of giving at the hotel lobby every Sunday in December. Performances on 3, 10, 17 and 24 December take place from 17:00 – 17:30 hrs and 18:00 – 18:30 hrs. Special performances will take place on Christmas Day (25 December) at 12 noon and 13:00 hrs.

Festive Sunday Longest Champagne Brunch

Satisfy your festive appetite at Festive Sunday Longest Champagne Brunch, presented every Sunday at Brasserie Europa from 3 to 24 December 2017 from 12:30 to 17:00 hrs. This unrivalled festive feast includes Foie Gras Station with foie gras ballontine, pan-fried, brioche and fig éclair; game pate, chicken liver parfait with truffle and; bellota pata negra 36 months with black truffle salami and parma ham. The Cheese Station selections include 12 cheeses (hard and soft), Vacherin Mont D’or and Quince paste, dried fruit ‘Salami’ and gingerbread.

Highlights of the extensive buffet include Christmas spiced hot smoked salmon; ‘Seafood on Ice’ with Atlantic lobster, three kinds of oysters, Alaskan king crab, tiger prawns, New Zealand mussels; roast butterball Turkey, chestnut stuffing with traditional condiments; roast Angus beef with Yorkshire pudding and orecchiette chopped truffle on the pass around trolley served from a Parmesan wheel.

The à la carte main courses includes Wagyu beef medallion (‘Rossini style’ foie gras, mushroom and spinach); roast lamb rack (fig and walnut compote, fondant potatoes); peppered duck breast (chestnuts and plum) and seared sea scallops (cauliflower purée and balsamic jus).

For sweet-tooth lovers the impressive dessert counter includes Dresdner stollen, gingerbread house, mince pie, German Christmas cookies, traditional chocolate chestnut yule log, frosted Christmas doughnuts, oven roasted marzipan apple, festive enhanced macaroons and festive enhanced soft ice-cream (gingerbread, mulled wine flavours) with a selection of condiments.

Festive Afternoon Tea

Hanuman Bar unveils a fabulous traditional afternoon tea that captures perfectly the festive mood. The Festive Afternoon Tea set is the creation of Executive Pastry Chef Frank Braun, inspired by European winter recipes and features assorted traditional sweet and savoury items served as guests enjoy the relaxing sounds of live easy listening jazz music.

Highlights of Festive Afternoon Tea include Dresdner Marzipan stollen; Christmas cookies and gingerbread selection; Monte Bianco with mulled wine pear; crunchy chocolate and cherry yule log and petite mince pies. Savoury choices include jumbo blue crab sandwich with artichoke compote and avruga caviar and turkey and chestnut pot pie.

In addition to an extensive choice of coffee and tea, Hanuman Bar also offers Chandon sparkling wine and fine Louis Roederer French champagne for guests wishing to toast the festive season in real style.

Brasserie Europa – Christmas Eve (24 December) is the perfect occasion to rejoice with families and friends, celebrating the spirit of Christmas and feasting together.

Brasserie Europa presents an extravagant traditional buffet dinner on Christmas Eve. This fabulous feast includes a ‘Raw Bar’ with three types of oysters; Atlantic lobster; snow crab; king crab; squid; queenie scallops and baby octopus.

This classic Christmas dinner also includes honey-glazed ham and roast whole butterball turkey; Angus beef fillet Rossini; poached lobster with yellow wine; caviar and roast duck breast with chestnuts and plums.

Christmas Eve dinner at Brasserie Europa concludes with a fabulous selection of delicious classic festive desserts including famous Dresdner stollen; mine pies; plum pudding; British Christmas cookies; traditional chocolate chestnut yule log; oven roasted Marzipan apple; festive decorated fruit cake; chocolate fudge cake and macaroons.

Brasserie Europa – Treat family and loved ones to a fantastic festive feast on Christmas Day (25 December) at Brasserie Europa, the popular European restaurant at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.

Enjoy an extravagant buffet with traditional European Christmas items in an elegant indoor setting or at an al fresco table overlooking the hotel gardens and pools.

Christmas Day highlights include a ‘Foie Gras Station’ featuring terrine, pan-fried, brioche, fig and éclair, game pâté and chicken liver parfait with truffles. The ‘Cured Meats Station’ offers 36 months 5J Pata Negra ham, pan tumaca, beef Cecina de Leon, black truffle salami and 36 months Culatello.

For seafood lovers, the ‘Seafood on Ice’ counter includes freshwater prawns, snow crab claws, Alaskan king crab, North Atlantic lobster, queenie scallops (in-shell) and three types of oysters.

In additional to this premium fresh seafood offering the Christmas Day buffet also include roast whole butterball turkey served with red cabbage, chestnut stuffing, Brussels sprouts, giblets gravy, cranberry sauce and bacon chipolatas; roast Angus beef rib served with rosemary roast potatoes, honey-glazed parsnips, glazed carrots and red wine jus, and roast leg of lamb with Boulanger potatoes, roasted root vegetables with tomato and thyme-infused jus.

Sparkling New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok (Sunday, 31 December 2017)

Bring 2017 to a glorious end and welcome the New Year in dazzling style in the glittering, romantic setting of the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.

Dining in the Garden - Celebrate the final hours of 2017 under a starry sky by dining al fresco in the romantic setting of the hotel’s pool-side gardens. Guests will enjoy a special New Year’s Eve international buffet with a BBQ grill and live cooking stations.

Menu highlights include an ‘Oyster and Raw Bar Station’ offering a selection of five different types of seasonal oysters as well as seafood ceviche and carpaccio – style tuna, salmon, swordfish, sea urchins, king crab, mussels, baby octopus, queenie scallops and smooth clams.

The European charcuterie and cheese board offers a choice of Pata Negra, Cecina, Parma ham and a wide selection of imported cheese.

Chefs at the BBQ grill will be cooking Australian lamb rack, Wagyu beef medallion, Atlantic lobster tails and river prawns. Other highlights include whole roasted Italian porchetta, Dijion-crusted roast beef hind quarter and whole roasted seabass in a salt crust.

This truly international buffet and BBQ dinner also include a range of Thai delicacies such as som tam gai yang; pad Thai; khao soi; tom yum lobster and tom kha gai. Delicious dessert items are guaranteed to sweeten and cyrstalise this romantic evening beneath the stars.

This incredibly crafted ten-course New Year’s Eve dinner includes tom yum prawn served with noodles, prawn cracker and prawn cake; trio of oysters; Maine lobster with frozen red curry; seared foie gras with ginger and plum sauce; mussels, tamarind carrots and Wagyu beef with krachai oyster sauce and corn flakes. This set menu is perfect reflection of Chef Henrik’s unique ability to prepare popular Thai dishes with amazing modern techniques.

Brasserie Europa – Start the New Year in style with family members, friends and loved ones at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.

Brasserie Europa unveils its extravagant and lavish New Year’s Day feast in the form of an extensive international buffet lunch. Highlights include a ‘Foie Gras Station’ with selection of pan-fried, terrine and crème brûlée.

Health conscious diners will enjoy the body-cleansing ‘Detox Bar’ with fresh vegetables, fruit juices and a Bloody Mary trolley.

Seafood lovers will appreciate the ‘Seafood Counter’ and ‘Sushi and Sashimi Counter’. The premium ‘Seafood Counter’ offering includes smoked New Zealand mussels, snow crab, claws, king crabs, Maine lobster and Fine de Claire oysters. The ‘Sushi and Sashimi Counter’ features a selection of rolls and maki with Norwegian salmon, tuna and king fish.

The ‘Carving Station’ offers Australian prime ribs and whole roasted duck plus a variety of side dishes such as mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, broccoli tempura and fried rice.
