The entire headquarters of the Audi FIS World Cup traveling ski show is coming to Bulgaria and is heading straight to… Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko! The most prestigious hotel of the quickly gaining international popularity Bulgarian ski resort will be the place of choice for all official guests and VIPs for the biggest ski event hosted in Bulgaria so far!
The two-day event (Super combined and Slalom) will be held at “Banderitsa” slope on February 26th and 27th 2011 and has already attracted overwhelming media interest. More than 200 reporters are expected to cover the races, and the live TV broadcast will reach an international viewing audience of over 200 million people! The tickets will go on sale from February 1st and the prices are very reasonable – one-day ticket for adults is 35 leva, while the combined two-day pass is 55 leva. Kids and students can see the best skiers in the world for 20 and 30 leva respectively, but only if accompanied by an adult. All ticket prices include transportation from Bansko to the slope and back.
This remarkable celebration of winter sports at the highest level will become possible due to the hard work of more than 1000 people, the big sponsors and even 100 volunteers from Bulgaria, Greece and Great Britain. The organizers didn’t underestimate a single detail – even people who don’t have a chance to buy a ticket will be able to watch the races at four free zones along the slope. Special brochure will provide well-structured information about everything – from parking lots and transportation schedules to cultural attractions and important phone numbers.
