Three Day Aegean Delicacies Cooking Workshop

Day One: Farmers Market Cook Out

Guests will visit Bodrum farmers’ market in the morning, with the hotel’s Executive Chef Ali Ronay. They will select the best local ingredients before returning to the hotel for a delicious lunch, afternoon cooking workshop and evening meal. Guests will learn how to prepare a four course evening meal with the ingredients from the farmers’ market, gathering tips and tricks from the chefs on preparing and putting together dishes such as “Seasonal vegetables cooked in olive oil”. The meal will be served with the best Boutique Turkish wines chosen to complement each course.

Day Two: Local Farm and Seafood Day

Guests will visit a farm close to the hotel, where they will be shown how to select the highest quality ingredients for the afternoon cooking section. Guests will enjoy a delicious light lunch at the farm using ingredients straight from the fields. The afternoon will be spent at the hotel learning about the seafood delicacies of the Aegean. Guests will cook with freshly caught fish and will prepare a mouth-watering four course evening meal, enjoyed with wine, pastries and Turkish coffee and tea.

Day Three: Pastry and Mezze Day

Enjoy a morning pastry workshop with the hotel’s expert Pastry Chef, Tunca Onat. Arguably one of the most technical cooking challenges, Chef Tunca will guide guests through the process of baking and pastry making, making delicious sweets including the “Turkish rice pudding with mint sauce”. The afternoon is spent learning about the Turkish Mezze culture, with fun tasting sessions, followed by a private meal and live music on the hotel’s beautiful terrace.

For guests wanting to enjoy a shorter cooking workshop there is also a one day option available. This costs €200 per person.

One Day Course: Farmers Market Experience

Guests will prepare a scrumptious four course evening meal with the ingredients from the farmers’ market and Chef Ali Ronay will show them tips and tricks on preparing and putting together various dishes. The day will come to a close over an evening meal served with the best Boutique Turkish wines chosen to complement each course.
