Budapest Christmas Market

A mere couple of minutes of walk from the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest in the very heart of the city, two splendid Christmas markets offer a more traditional experience. The historic Gerbeaud building complements the Vörösmarty tér market. New in 2012 is a light show that illuminates the 1,000sqm facade with animated graphics every evening. A more active experience is the Christmas market in front of the main cathedral, St. Stephen’s Basilica. Its winter attractions include ice-skating on a special rink and snow guns.
