Strbske Pleso, 16 October 2017 – The Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras has won two prestigious awards in a World Travel Awards international poll. The luxurious hotel on the shores of Strbske pleso tarn has won the category of Slovakia´s Leading Hotel 2017 and Slovakia´s Leading Hotel Suite 2017. According to the travellers and professionals from the area of tourism who voted in the World Travel Awards poll, Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras is the best hotel in Slovakia and it also has the best suite in the country.
“The Presidential suite at Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras is a unique jewel. Spread over 186 sq m, it offers two living rooms, bedrooms and four bathrooms. The most luxurious suite in the High Tatras has its own lift and entrance, so it is an ideal place for everyone who searches for absolute privacy,” describes Kathrin Noll, general manager of Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras. The suite has special furniture, a wardrobe and accessories from world designers. The ceilings are decorated with Murano chandeliers and the apartment provides a pleasant atmosphere, with custom-made paintings and the possibility of relaxing near a crackling fireplace. Apart from accommodation itself, the presidential suite can now also be used for special events.
Among the novelties is using the suite by engaged couples for pre-wedding preparations. The suite can be divided into a lady´s part for the bride and her bridesmaids and a man´s part for the groom and groomsmen. After the ceremony, both parts can unite.
Within the special offer of “Absolute privacy”, guests enjoy their stay in the suite with its own entrance; check-in can be arranged inside the suite. VIP Spa Suite and a five-course candlelit dinner in the hotel view tower are also included to complete the exceptional experience.
Another novelty is using the presidential suite for important business meetings. For groups of up to eight guests, the presidential suite is a perfect place when looking for top-level luxury venue. Its stylish meeting room offers modern technical equipment. A rich coffee break and services of your own “meeting concierge” will exceed expectations of all guests. The most important meetings should take place in exclusive locations, such as the presidential suite of the Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras.
The suite has hosted several eminent guests – among others the UN Secretary-General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, or the Canadian star singer, Mr. Bryan Adams.
