There are the following surcharges for pets staying at the hotel:
- Dwarf breeds under 5 kg – EUR 15 / night
- Small breeds 5-10 kg – EUR 25 / night
- Medium-sized breeds 10-25 kg – EUR 35 / night
- Large breeds over 25 kg – EUR 50 / night
Dogs and other pets can stay at our hotel only if their owners present a valid health certificate that proves the pets are absolutely healthy. Dogs can enter public spaces only along with their owners and always under control with a leash. Pets cannot be left unattended under any circumstances.
If any pet is staying inside a hotel room, the respective owner is obliged to place a card on the door to inform about the presence of an animal inside the room. The cards are available at the hotel reception when guests check in.
Based on the currently valid laws, dogs and other pets are not allowed on the following premises (doesn’t apply to guide dogs):

- Lobby Lounge & Bar
- ZION SPA LUXURY
If any hotel furniture or equipment or property of other hotel guests should be damaged by any pets, the respective client (owner) is obliged to pay damages in the full amount.
Our hotel is wheelchair-accessible and offers two Deluxe rooms Valley View adapted to the needs of immobile guests. Please specify your wheelchair-friendly requirements when booking your room.
A buffet breakfast is offered from 7.00 am till 11.00 am. If you wish to have breakfast earlier, please book a packed breakfast at the hotel reception one day in advance. Breakfast service in hotel rooms is surcharged.
Breakfast is included in the accommodation rates. Non-hotel guests can have breakfast at EUR 30 per person / day, served in the Grand Restaurant.
Check-in is available from 3.00 pm and check-out until 12.00 noon. Guests who arrive earlier can leave their luggage at the hotel reception.
Early check-in is surcharged and subject to availability at the time of arrival.
Late check-out is surcharged and subject to availability. Members of the KEMPINSKI DISCOVERY loyalty programme can stay longer for free – based on the level of their membership and the availability of rooms on the respective day of check-out. For more information, please contact the hotel reception on the day of check-out.
Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras is a non-smoking hotel. Hotel guests can use the Smoker’s Lounge at the Lobby Lounge & Bar. Outdoor hotel terraces are available for smoking, too.
Yes, Wi-Fi is free of charge and available in hotel rooms, conference rooms, at the Grand Restaurant, Spa and on all public hotel premises.
Yes, one extra bed or baby crib can be placed inside a room. This service is subject to availability and must be arranged when booking the room. Families with more than one child must book two rooms with interconnecting doors.
Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras can issue a booking confirmation, which is required for visa application in selected countries. Special deposit and booking cancellation terms apply in such a case. A one-way hotel limousine transfer from Poprad-Tatry airport or the railway station of Poprad costs EUR 40.
Taxi service is available at the airport and railway station exit area. A one-way transfer costs about EUR 30. Please keep in mind that the hotel is not responsible for the level of the taxi service provided and the charged prices.
The hotel has a garage and an outdoor car park. Garage parking is available at the rate of EUR 30 per car / day and the amount is added to the respective hotel room bill.
Parking service is available 24/7. If you want to drive your car to the main hotel entrance, please contact our concierge. You can stay for about 10 minutes there. Please be patient if waiting.
The outdoor car park is free of charge, however the hotel is not responsible for any potential damage.
