The dining scene at Ki has been wonderfully rejuvenated with the appointment of Chef Satoshi Sawada as the Japanese Culinary Artist at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.
With over 30 years of culinary adventure abroad, Chef Sawada brings a wealth of experience and expertise in various cuisines from leading five-star international hotel brands. He has been instrumental in creating menus and recipes for some of the world’s most prestigious luxury hospitality establishments.
From 1995 to 2020, Thailand has become his ‘home away from home’. As a veteran chef, he introduced traditional Japanese cuisine with a twist at the award-winning Shintaro Restaurant in The Regent Hotel Bangkok, part of the Four Seasons Hotel & Resort. He later served as Chef de Cuisine and then Executive Sous Chef at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.
In 2023, Chef Sawada was appointed executive chef at Double Tree by Hilton Toyama before returning to Thailand to join Sindhorn Kempinski as the Japanese Culinary Artist of Ki. Here, he brings an exquisite blend of ambience and flavours to welcome guests and Japanese food enthusiasts day and night.
