Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin ‘Legends of the Lotus’ Opens Daily from Midday to Midnight

Bangkok, 16 August 2024 – Home to one of the most exciting gastronomic experiences in Thailand, the award-laden modern Thai fine-dining restaurant, Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, has resumed its daily operations for luncheon and dinner services from today onwards.

The new experience at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin grants each diner the freedom to create their own menu. Presented by our amiable staff, diners will be treated to surprises with a daily selection of ocean-fresh catches. With a firm commitment to the ecosystem, whether on land or sea, both realms are conscientiously considered as we strive for sustainability in each dish served at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin.

Diners can create their own three-course and five-course menus from options conceptualised by Chef Henrik Yde-Andersen and Senior Head Chef Berm Chayawee Sutcharitchan. The ‘Legends of the Lotus’ luncheon service starts with the ‘In the Lounge’ act – a quick break for diners to unwind and enjoy five welcome bites depicting the street-food experience in Bangkok. The amuse-bouche selection includes Soy-Salted Meringue with Cashew and Fresh Thai Wasabi, Saffron-Spiced Mango Chutney and Crispy Golden Ball and Foamy Massaman, and Baby Scallops with Three Varieties of Basil.

The ‘In the Restaurant’ phase starts when diners are seated at their tables. The three-course luncheon allows diners to choose their favourites, starting with the salad course. Options include Marinated Grilled Cucumber Salad with Lemongrass-seasoned Squid and Avocado and Ginger-marinated Pineapple with Spicy Ceviche of Catch-of-the-Day. For the main course, guests can choose between the satay-inspired dish Turmeric-Infused Chicken with Roasted Artichokes, Peanuts and Ginger and Slow-Cooked Beef with Burnt Onions, Oyster Sauce and Brown Ginger.

The signature dessert for the luncheon service is Bananas Baked in Banana Leaves with Coconut Snow and Salted Palm Sugar Ice Cream, and it promises to be an exciting presentation to end this experiential dining at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin.

Guests opting for the five-course menu will receive an additional two dishes to complement their meal: Duck Consommé Aromatised with Five Spices served with Northern-style Salad, Smoked Fragrant Sausages and D-I-Y Duck Pancake and Golden Carrot Noodles with Tamarind and Grilled & Glazed Giant River Prawn as the soup and noodle courses, respectively.

The new experience at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin promises to excite diners with their freedom to learn about Thai-inspired modern dishes, sustainability, demonstrations and the flavours that beautifully depict the history of Thai cuisine. The ‘Legends of the Lotus’ luncheon service is available daily and is priced at THB 2,200++ per person for the three-course menu and THB 3,800++ per person for the five-course menu.
