Portoroz - 2 March 2015 - Luxurious Kempinski Palace Portorož reopens for a new season on 6 March. This year's season is even more important as the hotel is celebrating its 105th birthday. For this occasion, Kempinski Palace prepared an outstanding offer for Facebook friends with anniversary room rates for EUR 105 for the first 105 bookings.

Upon its opening in 1910, Palace Hotel was the most beautiful and largest hotel on the Adriatic Sea just after Excelsior Hotel in Venice. It was built as a tourist facility of the higest category and still remained the most luxurious hotel in Slovenia. Portorož still has a key identity with Palace Hotel. The souls and hearts of thousands of people grew with the changes of this hotel and established a special bond to it. This emotional bond is strong and keeps hotel very much alive.

After a winter nap, the warm rays of spring invite you to enjoy the seaside and to wake up in the blossoming spring nature with the sun. In Portorož and its surroundings, there are various events that take place throughout the whole year, such as Saltpans Feast at the end of April.
