KEMPINSKI PALACE PORTOROZ IS THE WINNER OF THE WORLD TRAVEL AWARDS 2012 FOR ALL CATEGORIES IN SLOVENIA
Algarve, 7th October 2012: Kempinski Palace Portoroz was awarded with two astonishing prizes by the World Travel Awards 2012 for Slovenia’s Leading hotel and Slovenia's Leading Spa Resort.
Europe's most successful travel brands were acknowledged at a red-carpet ceremony hosted by World Travel Awards on 6th October 2012 at the new Conrad Algarve in Portugal. A packed delegation of VIPs, senior tourism figures and international media travelled from 35 nations to attend the event. The leading travel decision-makers from across Europe attended the gala evening, which was being held in partnership with Conrad Algarve and Turismo do Algarve, and included a gourmet dinner, top entertainment, as well as the presentation of the prestigious awards. Violeta Milusheva, the Director of Sales and Marketing, received the two awards on behalf of the Kempinski Palace Portoroz in Portugal and she said: “The two awards are highly deserved recognition for the team's dedication to create and constantly deliver a remarkable experience to our guests in the spirit of the best European traditions for luxury hospitality. The WTA awards programme, hailed as the ‘Oscars of the travel industry' by the global media, highlighted and rewarded those travel brands that have made the greatest contribution to the industry over the past year. Europe's travel elite have walked off with top honours; Lufthansa, Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, DFDS Seaways, Disneyland Paris and Norwegian Cruise Line.
