Introduced as a global Kempinski initiative, every executive chef has been challenged to create a dish that represents the essence of the destination with an innovative component.
“Linguini a la Buzzara” is a signature dish of hotel Kempinski Palace Portoroz and is a typical local dish, consisting of local fresh ingredients. It is done through our chef’s creativity and a remarkable Istrian touch.
Based on an old recipe, only fresh, locally sourced produce and ingredients are used. Handmade linguini with a delicious sauce à la Buzzara, which consists of fresh mussels from the Adriatic Sea, fresh herbs from the hotel’s own garden, local olive oil as well as fresh charlottes and tomatoes.
Guests can taste it at the restaurant Fleur De Sel, on the sunny terrace with a view over the Adriatic Sea, and experience a treat for all the senses.
