Marsa Malaz Kempinski The Pearl – Doha received the Welcome Chinese Certification to meet requirements of Chinese tourists
Doha, 12 April 2018 – Marsa Malaz Kempinski The Pearl – Doha is being recognized by the China Tourism Academy (CTA) with the Welcome Chinese Certification.
On 10 April at the Msheireb Enrichment Centre, the Recognition Ceremony was held to celebrate
this important milestone.
With the first batch of hotels having fulfilled the requirements for the Welcome Chinese
The event was attended by senior representatives from the Chinese Embassy and the Welcome
Chinese and Qatar Tourism Authority, which they have joined hands to empower tourism and its
allied sectors in Qatar to meet the requirements of Chinese tourists.
Following the Certification Program, Marsa Malaz Kempinski will undertake to provide access to
Chinese TV and newspapers, and a Chinese option on the breakfast menu. The Certification
Program also includes the provision of free Wi-Fi, hot water (for Chinese tea), and the possibility
for Chinese guests to pay for products and services with UnionPay, the Chinese-approved payment
