Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest introduces Kempinski The Spa
Kempinski The Spa’s unique spa treatments are inspired by the European cycle of the seasons and help restore the body’s natural equilibrium by drawing on the elemental wisdom of nature.
Therapists begin each treatment with a consultation to identify needs and objectives in order to create a personalised treatment, winter conjures thoughts of hibernation and recuperation, while spring brings to mind renewal and growth.
Kempinski The Spa uses Elemental Herbology products, which combine holistic medical knowledge with the most innovative and advanced bio-active skincare technology to counter ageing, lifestyle and environment effects. Kempinski The Spa at Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest is the only Spa in Hungary that offers Elemental Herbology treatments.
Kempinski The Spa’s treatment menu focuses on well-being as well as beauty, and includes seven facials, nine full body treatments and nine massage therapies. Elemental Herbology’s seasonally inspired regimens are used during all treatments, including Spring Face, an energising spring cleaning facial and Summer Face, a facial that soothes dehydrated, sun-soaked skin. A men’s facial treatment is also available, cleansing, exfoliating and nourishing the skin – all with the gentlemen’s special needs in mind. Body treatments include, Winter Fleece Wrap, which soothes tired joints and Autumn Flame, a treatment that rejuvenates the system.
Kempinski The Spa’s signature treatment, “Harmony Within” is the only one of its kind available in Budapest. This two-hour full body treatment is pure joy, and includes a mother-of- pearl body scrub, followed by a warm thyme and mint aromatic massage, complete with soothing hot stones to reduce any lingering tension and a warm oil head massage.
Kempinski The Spa is located on the second level of the hotel and is open to hotel guests and local spa members. The 525-square-metre spa was recently redecorated to reflect a contemporary European style. The spa’s natural daylight enhances the splendid views of central Budapest and Erzsébet Park. The spa’s four treatment rooms include a double spa suite, which allows couples or friends to be massaged at the same time.
The gym offers FreeMotion cardiovascular and strength equipment to help guests keep in shape, as well as a 7 x 5 metre heated pool. Kempinski The Spa also features a steam room, an aroma sauna and a Finnish sauna, as well as a relaxation area.
The hotel’s Spa Manager, Mrs Eszter Szekeres-Joó, said, “Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest proudly introduces one-of-a-kind treatments in Hungary. We are very happy that we joined the Kempinski The Spa family. Our European values will be highlighted to an even greater extent thanks to our new spa concept, which is fully harmonious with the core philosophy of our hotel brand.
