Budapest - Facts, No Fiction!

Budapest, once three distinct towns, today remains as two in one: Buda and Pest. Kept apart by the Danube River, leafy, hilly, castle - crowned Buda and  commercial, electric Pest are like passionate lovers… always charged full of emotion. Be prepared to fall in love!

Why Budapest ? Some Facts...

It’s naturally and historically multi-faceted, and its rich and diverse layers are readily available in Budapest to explore. Zigzag your way in and out of ancient Roman remains, Renaissance ruins, Ottoman baths, monarchical landmarks, Bauhaus blocks, Communist leftovers and contemporary icons. Both high and low, rise above and hike the many hills in town and nearby, or go underground - literally - into medical caves and museums. More high and low, up the gastro ante in Michelin-starred restaurants, or add street cred to your style in Budapest’s specialty - ruin pubs -. Throughout the year, themed culinary festivals mark the agro season’s many highlights and showcase the best of artisan food and wine making. High-brow and smart-brow, Budapest is the city of art festivals, including the Budapest Spring Festival and CAFe Contemporary Festival. Events at a Glance>
