Indulge all your senses with Kempinski's Dessert of the Year 2017 - Mondial. The original recipe for this exquisite heavenly dessert comes from Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin and the talanted Sous Chef Patisserie - Mr Steffen Holle.

And as no one can describe the passion behind a masterpiece better than the author, here is a brief description of the dessert from Mr Holle:

"My dessert creation Mondial is more than merely a sweet temptation. Kempinski has travelled the world. My desire was to bring across a message and an emotion. I use selected ingredients from the regions in which Kempinski is represented. Fine almonds from Europe, hearty chocolate from Africa, aromatic spices from Asia and exquisite pistachios from the Middle East.

To express luxury and elegance was equally important as is our view into the future, which is why I added tobacco to the dessert and a Cuban rum cocktail in a pipette as a palette cleanser to reflect the soon to open Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski in La Habana, Cuba."
