The Seychelles Eco-Friendly Marathon is held on the last Sunday of February and is enthusiastically attended by local and international runners alike. There are routes suited to every fitness level, from 5 km and 10 km fun runs to full and half-marathons for seasoned runners.
Beginning and ending in Beau Vallon, in the north of Mahé, the marathon has a festive ambience that will spur you on as you run through one of the last remaining paradises on earth. Spectators can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and cheer runners across the finish line, before purchasing a refreshing tropical fruit juice and relaxing on Mahe’s most popular beach.
How to get to there: Beginning early in the morning, reaching Beau Vallon by taxi is recommended as parking is limited. Beau Vallon is roughly one hour from the hotel, in the north of Mahé. A taxi from the hotel costs roughly EUR 55*.
Entries open in December each year. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call +248 438 6666 for assistance with your registration.
