Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates welcomes Executive Chef Winfried Helmetag’s

Executive Chef Winfried Helmetag will embark on an exciting new gastronomic journey as part of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates’ outstanding culinary team, after completing five years at the helm of Kempinski Ajman’s nine dining destinations, where he was responsible for the creation of an inventive and inspiring selection of delectable dishes.

“Chef Helmetag has an impeccable record in leading a successful kitchen operation and a great flair for fine food. Over three decades of experience have honed his natural talent, allowing him to treat his guests to consistently delightful fine dining experiences. It gives me great pleasure to welcome Chef Helmetag to Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates from our sister property in Ajman, and we look forward to our guests in Dubai enjoying many of Chef Helmetag’s exquisite dishes,” says Holger Schroth, General Manager, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. 

 

Prior to joining Kempinski Hotel Ajman, Chef Helmetag served as the Executive Chef at The Royal Hashemite Court, Jordan where he was responsible for all food and beverage related matters at the private and public palaces of their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan.

 

Chef Helmetag’s culinary prowess has developed through working at several prestigious properties belonging to highly respected hospitality chains including Hyatt and Le Méridien, in Europe, the Levant in Middle East and North Africa. 

Chef Winfried is an executive committee member of the Emirates Culinary Guild, as well as a mentor and judge for many culinary competitions, and he recently created and presented an evening of sumptuous gourmet fare for members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, held at Kempinski Hotel Ajman in April. 

 

Chef Winfried’s appreciation for life’s finer pleasures extends beyond the kitchen, to include a passion for music and the delights of travel.
