A well accomplished hotelier, Schroth has been in the hospitality industry for 25 years, spending close to 20 of those years with the Kempinski group of hotels. Prior to his Dubai appointment, Schroth was in Munich working as General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel Airport, Munich for three years; and in Spain where he spent five years as General Manager with the Kempinski Resort Hotel Estepona.
Throughout his career, Schroth has shown dedication, commitment and passion for excellence in his work, which showed in the outstanding results he has achieved.
Schroth is a certified Hotel Administrator, a globally-recognized accreditation for senior executives working in hospitality industry. His academic preparations include a diploma from Alliance Francaise, as well as a certificate on Professional Development Program and General Managers Program from the School of Hotel Administration of Cornell University in New York, USA.
Schroth also obtained an MBA from the European Executive MBA program of Reims Management School in France.
Fluent in English, French, Spanish and his native language German, Schroth is married with two children.
