Our Commitment to a Greener Tomorrow

Sustainability

Sustainability at the Core of Design
At The David Kempinski Tel Aviv, sustainability is not an afterthought but an integral part of our design process. We are deeply committed to incorporating environmentally responsible practices into every aspect of our work. From the initial conceptualisation to the final touches, our team ensures that sustainability remains at the forefront of our design philosophy.

Locally Sourced Materials
Throughout the design and construction of the hotel, we made conscious decisions to prioritise locally sourced materials. By doing so, we actively reduced transportation-related carbon emissions associated with importing materials from distant locations. Additionally, supporting local suppliers and businesses has been a vital aspect of our commitment to bolstering the local economy and fostering community growth. We teamed up with local construction companies and we were able to minimise the environmental impact of the construction process, making thoughtful choices that align with our commitment to responsible development.

Energy-Saving Innovations
To reduce our carbon footprint further, The David Kempinski Tel Aviv is equipped with state-of-the-art energy-saving features. Our rooms are designed to maximise the use of natural daylight and encourage natural ventilation through the installation of floor-to-ceiling sliding windows. Automated AC controls enable us to regulate energy usage effectively, ensuring optimal comfort for our guests while promoting responsible resource consumption.

Responsible Waste Management
As part of our sustainability efforts, we take a proactive approach to waste management. Items made of PET, glass, and aluminium are meticulously sorted and sent for recycling, diverting waste away from landfills.

Local and Seasonal Produce
The David Kempinski Tel Aviv's commitment to sustainability extends to our culinary offerings as well. We take pride in offering a menu that features local and seasonal produce. By doing so, we not only support local farmers and reduce carbon emissions associated with food transportation, but we also provide our guests with the freshest and most flavourful dining experience.

Our commitment to sustainability is not just about fulfilling a responsibility; it's a reflection of our values and dedication to creating a greener tomorrow. By infusing every aspect of The David Kempinski with environmentally conscious choices, we ensure that your stay with us is not only luxurious but also contributes to a more sustainable and ecologically responsible future.
