With 300 days of sunshine, Tel Aviv is the perfect destination all year round, and there’s no better way to spend your day than by being outdoors.
Tel Aviv has some of the cleanest and most easily accessible urban beaches in the world. Located just a step across the street from the hotel, Jerusalem (Geula) Beach has gained recognition as the ‘matkot beach’, matkot being an Israeli-invented game played with two ping-pong-like wooden paddles and a hard little ball. Either join in for a heated game, relax under the sun or cool off in the sea. Late afternoons are our favourite, perfect for catching the sunset and for reflecting on the day’s adventures. Our team will be happy to assist with surfboard rentals, or will help you sign up for a surfing lesson, paddleboarding or SUP yoga.
HaYarkon Park – Tel Aviv’s largest park, situated in the north of the city – is the perfect spot to enjoy rock climbing, bike riding and weekend picnics by the lake.
Habima Square – Stroll down to the end of Rothschild Boulevard to hang out with the locals. Grab a coffee or fresh juice on the way, pick your spot around the renovated complex and enjoy the Tel Avivian scene.
