Singapore, 3 November 2022 – With the season of indulgence almost upon us, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore is excited to unveil its sumptuous feast of festive offerings that will leave guests spoilt for choice. From 1 December 2022 to 1 January 2023, celebrate the year-end with an exquisite selection of decadent buffet spreads, thoughtfully curated set menus for lunch and dinner, free-flow cocktail packages and festive takeaway goodies.
Whether guests are celebrating inside the grand and storied interiors of The Capitol Kempinski Hotel or spending time with their loved ones at home, the hotel’s festive creations will bring plenty of Yuletide cheer and holiday glamour.

Curated Festive Set Menus
Guests can rejoice this festive season with an epicurean feast that blends contemporary Asian flavours with seasonal produce, seafood and meat. For the whole of December, except on Christmas day, 15 Stamford by Alvin Leung will offer three- (S$68++) to four-course (S$78++) set menus for lunch and four- (S$158++) to five-course (S$168++) sharing set menus for dinner.

The lunch menu features dishes such as a Torched Sword Fish prepared with cincalok, pomelo, cilantro lime emulsion and chilli cutter fish floss. A Japanese Crab ‘Sawagani’ immersed in a Thai curry with basil and assam lychee is another highlight, as is a Wagyu Beef Cheek paired with la ratte potato mousseline, chorizo, white bean, and black garlic jus. For dessert, relish in familiar Asian flavours with the Rosella Mousse Tart, garnished with a hawthorn coulis and wheat streusel and topped with lemongrass ice cream.
For dinner, bask in each other’s company and share the joy of Christmas with decadent communal dining sets. The dinner begins with a Signature Amuse Bouche: 3 Layer Tartare using Hokkaido scallop, amaebi prawn, skipjack tuna, port wine gel and Kaluga caviar. As the evening unfolds, tuck into sharing dishes such as a Canadian Lobster, complemented with a chilli mango, black beans, cilantro and Szechuan pepper oil, and a festive classic of Smoked Turkey Breast with beef fat saffron, basil caviar, chestnut and bonito consommé. The main sharing course presents a choice of Wild Caught Fish Plate featuring grilled mahi-mahi, poached blue-eye cod and pan-seared giant trevally or Premium Meat Cuts like Japanese A4 wagyu beef sirloin, lamb tenderloin and six-spice Iberico pork cheek. Sweeten the meal with a Banana Parfait layered with dark rum jelly, coconut malto, gula jawa crisp and roasted tea ice cream.
Plush Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Buffets:
Gather your loved ones and indulge in a lavish buffet on Christmas Eve and Day. Christmas Eve Dinner has two seatings at 5pm (S$188++) and 8:30pm (S$168++), while Christmas Day Brunch on 25 December starts at 12pm (from S$188++). Guests can look forward to enjoying over 20 stations packed with all the trimmings, fresh seafood, carvery, dessert and much more.
Relish on a worldly selection of seafood such as Freshly Shucked Oysters and Snow Crab Leg. Whet your appetite with an entourage of roast meats, including a Rotisserie Goose topped with a classic cranberry sauce or a seasonal chestnut gravy. End the festive feasting with various sweet treats, from the Valrhona Black Forest Cake to Matcha Financier and Apple Crumble Tart. Merrymakers can elevate their Christmas Brunch further with the Festive Beverage Package (S$228++) featuring crafted cocktails or a Laurent Perrier Package (S$258++).
Home entertainers can re-create the hotel’s signature dining experience back home with delectable takeaways, available for delivery too. Revel in a luscious and juicy range of roasted meats such as Spiced Rubbed Whole Turkey with cranberry jam and bread sauce; Roasted Black Angus Beef Ribeye with horseradish cream, dijon mustard and red wine sauce; and the famed Baked Honey Ham featuring a glaze that incorporates The Bar at 15 Stamford’s signature cocktail Plantation 1840. The cocktail pays tribute to Joseph Balestier — the first appointed US consul to Singapore who lived on the very site where The Capitol Kempinski Hotel stands today — and his foray into rum production in Singapore in the 1830s.
The essence of the Plantation 1840 cocktail is also infused in handcrafted holiday treats, such as the Plantation 1840 Rum Fruit Cake and Stollen. Enchant guests further with the Christmas Wreath Cake featuring cream cheese frosting and cranberries and the Gingerbread Cookie Advent Calendar that countdowns to Christmas with a cookie a day. Promising to take centre stage of any dessert table are the stunning Éclairs filled with strawberry basil, pecan maple, black forest, pistachio and mango passion.

Frieda Beer Garden & German Restaurant
Frieda is marking the holidays with a two- or three-course set menu of sumptuous German specialities for lunch and dinner. Enjoy Smoked Duck Breast Carpaccio with citrus salad & walnut; Venison Saddle with red cabbage, Swabia noodles and red wine jus; and the classic Black Forest Cake served in a glass.
La Scala is celebrating Christmas with quintessentially Italian dishes across two or three courses for lunch and dinner. Get into the festive mood with Salmon Terrine served with dill, cream cheese and mesclun; Black Ink Spaghetti with prawns, creamy housemade tomato sauce and Brandy; and Zabaglione for dessert.
New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Countdown to the new year at the opulent and historic Capitol Kempinski Hotel, set within the hustle and bustle of Singapore's civic district. On New Year’s Eve, 15 Stamford by Alvin Leung will offer a five-course dinner set menu. The dinner has two seatings available at 6pm (S$178++) and 8:30pm (S$208++). Guests can revel in their final meal of the year with a spread that will take them on a culinary journey with a range of surf and turf dishes such as the Botan Ebi Shrimp, a sweet shrimp presented with snow crab escabeche, onion malto and roasted rice emulsion, and the Kokuou Wagyu Beef Sirloin paired with gula java chestnut purée, winter truffle, black garlic crush, Chinese yam and Madeira jus.

Guests reserving the 8:30pm dinner session will gain access to the hotel’s exclusive Rooftop Countdown Party at the Eden Residences at 10:30pm. The Bar at 15 Stamford will also be popping the champagne and serving cocktails to celebrate New Year’s Eve. A DJ will also be on deck to set the mood. The bar will have various drinks packages alongside its usual cocktail menu. The Silver Package (S$450++ Early Bird; S$520++ Regular) offers one spirit bottle of choice between Grey Goose vodka, Dewar’s 12YO whisky, Bombay Sapphire gin and Bacardi Reserva Ocho 8YO rum, two bottles of Laurent Perrier Brut Millesime 2008 and 12 beers.
