Bangkok, 28 March 2023 – Summer is ideal for discovering Thailand’s own summertime speciality, Khao Chae. Flourish restaurant at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok has curated a refreshing set menu for diners to enjoy this authentic Thai culinary experience in the summer heat of April.

Through the centuries, this cooling meal went from a delicacy served only to royalty to a platter enjoyed by all to fight off the heat. Flourish maintains the regal elegance of the presentation while preserving the traditional dishes developed for diners to relish Thai flavours to be enjoyed with chilled rice.

 For dine in at THB 990++ per set and take away at THB 1,290++ per set, you can discover the uniquely Thai khao ob tien (rice smoked with a scented candle) served with jasmine water and ice along with a range of side dishes including crispy pulled pork or beef, steamed banana chili stuffed with minced pork, caramelised pickled turnips, and more, all accompanied with intricately carved vegetables to provide an extra cooling crunch.
