The Old Siam Shopping Plaza 

The Old Siam Plaza is sited at Wang Burapha, an historic neighbourhood that has always been a centre for shopping, with the mall standing on what was once Ming Muang Market. Designed in the style that became popular in the reign of King Rama V, the Old Siam Plaza brims with quaintness and charm, and along with its handicrafts, fashions and electronics is the place to head for local Thai food served in an atmosphere of colour and bustle.

ASIATIQUE the Riverfront 

The East Asiatic Company was a Danish concern which, late in the 19th century built its own port facilities on the Chao Phraya River. In the middle of the 20th century the port and its warehouses fell into disuse, but recent years have seen Asiatique The Riverfront founded amongst the old structures, combining a lively night market with shops, restaurants, shows, events and a giant Ferris wheel. The historical aspects of the site have been conserved, and there is a riverfront walk.

RIVERCITY 

A concentrated collection of shops and galleries specialising in art, antiques, curios and handicrafts, River City is on the Chao Phraya River and is a magnet for collectors, traders and connoisseurs from around the world.
