Lunch in the wilderness
Once you are on safari, out on a game drive in the wonder of Olare Motorogi’s distinctive wilderness, such is the variety, fascination and sheer magnificence of its wildlife viewing, that you may not wish to waste precious game-viewing time by travelling back to the camp for lunch. Especially if you’ve just encountered one of the Conservancies legendary lion prides. The good news is - you don’t have to. Instead, we can provide you with a picnic lunch (at no additional cost).
Breakfast on the plains
Similarly, if you’d like to enjoy a picnic breakfast on your early morning game drive, just ask your driver/guide to arrange for a hamper.
The exclusive savannah breakfast
For an unforgettable safari experience you may like to book an exclusive savannah breakfast (at a small additional cost). Breakfast will never taste so good as it does on the Mara plains. You’ll leave the camp early and set out across the legendary ‘spotted plains.’ Here, in the crispness of the morning, you may encounter our lion prides at play, you may catch the elephant herds on the move, or you can watch the ever-changing drama of the plains game.
Arriving at a carefully chosen spot, you will be offered a glass of chilled sparkling wine or fresh juice before being shown to your table, which has been spread with a scarlet Maasai cloak and set up in a shaded glade. There will be a display of fruit, patisserie and cereals, and your own private team of chefs will be on hand to cook the full English breakfast of your choice. It’s a leisurely experience: one that mustn’t be rushed. So only when you’re ready, will your driver-guide escort you on a game drive back to our camp.
