Here at one of the region's largest museums, you can see mummies of kings that have been amazingly preserved for thousands of years, sarcophagi, ancient coins and papyrus fragments. There are huge boats and statues, as well as unique artefacts found in the tombs of the Pharaohs. One of the most famous exhibits is the Mask of Tut ankhamun, made of solid gold. This fascinating journey through Egyptology unlocks some of the best-preserved Egyptian artefacts on Earth.

  • Opening hours: Monday until Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm, on Thursday and Sunday from 6 pm until 9 pm. 
  • Entrance fees: 200 EGP.
