Its countdown time at Kempinski Hotel Bahía…
Estepona, 16 January 2018 – January marks another milestone for the Hotel which is currently closed for a redesign and will open in one month, on 16th February.
The renovation will provide the 145 Rooms and Suites Hotel with a new lobby and unveil their stunning new Food and Beverage project called El Paseo del Mar which will have its soft launch also on 16th of February.
As the work progresses and the exquisite new lobby and dining venues take form the General Manager Carla Lopes said: “I’m extremely proud to lead this project, where we will bring our next vision and bold new approach to such a sought-after and vibrant destination as Costa del Sol”
For this ambitious project the Hotel is teaming up with Architects Akos Bara, who are worldwide experts in hotel and restaurant redesign, and local leader construction company, B. Solis Construction. The project will enhance the hotel’s quintessentially elegant status with modern and opulent characteristics, embracing the very essence of Kempinski Hotels, Europe’s oldest luxury Hotel Collection, synonymous with luxury travel worldwide.
For El Paseo Del Mar, Kempinski Hotel Bahia is cooperating with the celebrated Zsidai Restaurant Group, whose current partners include brands such as the Jamie Oliver Group and Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest.
New concepts will include Baltazar Steak House, a funky and lively all year round grill-bar. Spiler on the Beach, a chilled out lounge and restaurant that will be beachfront and poolside combining in one atmosphere, entertainment, dining and music. And Black Rose Bar, located right in the heart of the hotel, with the lobby vibe, the perfect place to sip a cocktail and socialize with friends.
All of the venues will be fully operational by May, with every detail anticipated for thus, positioning the hotel as a leading player within the Costa del Sol when welcoming guests from all over the world. The redesign is part of a wider investment and forms part of the company’s long-term vision for the resort.
Kempinski Hotel Bahía opened in 1999, and the award-winning hotel was designed by one of Andalucia’s most renowned architects, Melvin Villarroel. It is surrounded by a footprint of 40,000 sq m of indigenous and subtropical gardens. The hotel has 128 spacious rooms and 17 luxury suites, a spa offering a soothing luxury experience, and several spacious conference rooms.
