Yinchuan, 4 June 2024 – Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan has officially appointed Mr. Zhang Shengyong as Chinese Executive Chef of GLO Central Chinese Restaurant. Chef Zhang will feature collections of China cuisine where he presents his own unique interpretations of regional dishes, which demonstrate sophistication, creativity and depth of flavors, taking the food of China to a new level.

For diners to experience the quintessence of traditional Cantonese banquets, various set menus are offered. Items change seasonally and while layering flavors, Chef Zhang still respects the basics of traditional techniques and seasoning, standing firmly in the Chinese culinary camp. He adds a contemporary sensibility with a vibrant touch.

Chef Zhang is from Anhui province and boasts nearly 24 years experience in Chinese cuisine having worked as executive chef at Cordis Hotel Xuzhou, Langham Hotel Xiamen, Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai and Wanda Realm Nanchang.
