Chinese character “Fu” in “Taifu Restaurant” reflects the spirit of Fuzhou: The sea admits hundreds of rivers for its capacity to hold. The spirit borrows antithetical couplets in Lin Zexu’s state office when he serviced as governor of Guangdong and Guangxi.
