Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou Showcases Fujian and Cantonese Delicacies at Taifu Restaurant

Fuzhou, 19 August 2024 – The culinary team at Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou, led by newly arrived Chinese Executive Chef Kevin Li, upholds the spirit of craftsmanship. Through travels throughout Fujian province in search of original ingredients, a comprehensive menu has been created, being rich in local Fujian flavours. With 35 years of experience in international chain hotels and high-end clubs in Guangdong, Tianjin and Beijing, Chef Kevin Li specialises in the preparation of traditional Cantonese cuisine, the fusion of Chinese and Western ingredients and the creative presentation of Northern and Southern dishes. Together with his team of skilled chefs, they select the finest ingredients to recreate Fujian and Cantonese delicacies at Taifu Restaurant.

Taifu Restaurant on floor 2 of Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou is designed with inspiration from the spirit of Fuzhou and its alley culture. The dining area, with 48 seats and 18 private dining rooms, is decorated in classic Chinese red and consists of long, narrow spaces interlaced horizontally and vertically. The restaurant and private rooms surround this area, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Fuzhou’s alleys.
