Fuzhou, 25 September 2025 – The 2025 National Day holiday coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival. To welcome this rare double celebration, Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou has meticulously planned a series of exciting activities that blend local culture with interactive programmes, aiming to create an immersive holiday experience for guests and unforgettable moments together.
During the Festival, the hotel lobby will transform into an interactive space filled with local charm. The Lady in Red, adorned with traditional hairpin headbands, will distribute fragrant jasmine flower sachets to arriving guests, conveying the blessings and welcome of Fuzhou's city flower. Beloved cartoon characters will pose for photos with children in the lobby and restaurants, adding joy and laughter to the occasion.
Guests seeking physical and mental balance can visit the yoga studio every morning for specially arranged complimentary yoga classes, where they can start the day feeling refreshed and balanced. Each afternoon, the hotel will host a tea art performance in the lobby, where guests can enjoy elegant demonstrations and savour fine tea for free, allowing them to experience the profound heritage of Fujian tea culture. The most distinctive Mid-Autumn folk activity in Fujian, ‘Bobing’ (a dice game), will also be staged in the hotel's outdoor garden in the afternoon, allowing guests to share in the festive excitement and good fortune of the traditional holiday. Children can enjoy the fun of fishing at a dedicated pool.
The hotel’s dining experience has also been elevated with enhanced offerings. The daily buffet dinner will feature themed handicraft activities and baking classes, allowing families to create together and experience the joy and accomplishment that comes from hands-on participation.
To delight family travellers, the hotel offers four themed family rooms and connecting rooms, including the Milk Dragon, Ultraman and Princess rooms, which create a dreamy and imaginative accommodation space for young guests.
The hotel's excellent location further enhances the guest experience. It is adjacent to Metro Line 4, just four stops from the city's iconic ‘Three Lanes and Seven Alleys’. Nearby attractions include Jin'an Lake Park, Niugangshan Park and Jinjishan Park – ideal destinations for leisurely strolls and relaxation. For travellers arriving by high-speed rail, the hotel is just a 10-minute drive from Fuzhou Railway Station, providing extremely convenient access.
“We are happy to welcome guests to Fuzhou, a very liveable destination with ancient lanes and 2,200 years’ history. You can enjoy a unique holiday filled with laughter, cultural charm and family warmth through the hotel’s thoughtful services, rich activities and convenient location,” says Maggie Wang, General Manager at Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou
