Old Venetian town of Piran
Resembling Venice and Venetian architecture, the town of Piran is, with its small and narrow streets, the perfect idyllic seaside heritage town. Lipica Stud Farm, the cradle of the Lipizzaner horses
The famous Lipizzaner horses, recognized worldwide as one of the most elegant breeds of horses, come from Lipica. Nowadays it represents one of the most beautiful cultural and historical monuments of Slovenia with historic roots going as far back as the year 1580. It proudly carries on with the tradition of breeding and selecting purebred horses to this day. As part of the guided tour, you will be able to visit the Classic Riding School, which still participates in worldwide equestrian events. You can even opt for the horse riding activity!
