Lady Power in the Management Board of Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul!
Istanbul - Turkey, 30 May 2018; Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul is pleased to announce the appointment of two new professionals in the current experienced and successful executive management team. While Elif Derya Bakkal became the Sales and Marketing Director, and Marie Grosyeux joined the management team as the Food and Beverage Director.
Elif Derya Bakkal, graduate of Ege University's Hotel Management department, began her professional career by working at various departments of important hotels in the Aegean region. Bakkal, who climbed the career steps rapidly in the hotel management industry, occupied various positions and completed management certification programs at Montage Beverly Hills in USA. Upon her return from USA, she then turned her direction to Bodrum, Turkey after undertaking various positions including Director of Sales in Istanbul Park Hyatt. In 2017, she took the role of Sales and Marketing Director of the first hotel of the Paramount Hotels & Resorts after the first European resort of Mandarin Oriental brand in Bodrum, Turkey. Elif Derya Bakkal, who will join the board of the hotel, will carry out all the sales and marketing operations of the hotel.
Graduated from Institut Eshotel in Paris, Marie Grosyeux took important roles in the food & beverage departments of luxurious hotels in various different locations of the world like Dubai, Prague, Paris, Edinburgh and Dublin. The last role of Grosyeux before being assigned to Ciragan Palace Kempinski was Food and Beverage Director in charge of all food and beverage areas of Four Seasons Hotel Prague. Grosyeux, who had served as a senior manager in food & beverage operations of world-famous hotels like Burj Al Arab and Jumeriah Emirates Tower, has a good command of English and Spanish besides French, her mother language. Marie Grosyeux will join the hotel board, and be responsible for all the food & beverage operations and strategies with her great international experience.
