Pool Area
The 5 x 11 m pool on floor 5 with a depth of 1.34 m is surrounded by a modern ambience and furniture. The pleasant water temperature is kept at 28°C (82.4°F) the whole year. A blue-tile mirror with the Taschenbergpalais logo is shown on the bottom of the pool, as one of the new design elements. Bright and precious lounge suites invite you to relax on the right and left of the pool. Spacious, bright and luxurious changing rooms with lockable compartments, as well as, bathrobes and slippers, are available for guests. Refreshing drinks are served at the wellness bar.

Daily from 7am to 10pm.

Important Information Regarding Our Pool Area

Due to unforeseen and urgent restoration work required for the ceiling and walls of our pool area, we regret that the swimming pool will be temporarily closed. To ensure our exceptional standards of quality and preserve the long-term excellence of our facilities, these essential works cannot be postponed.

Consequently, the pool will be closed from 5 July until approximately 24 July 2026.

Your wellbeing remains our priority: The remainder of our spa and wellness facilities will remain fully operational throughout this period. You are warmly invited to enjoy our sauna facilities, relaxing massages and exclusive beauty treatments as usual in a tranquil setting.

Swimming facilities nearby: To ensure you can still enjoy a swim during your stay, we have arranged an exclusive partnership with a nearby hotel. Throughout the temporary closure, you are welcome to enjoy complimentary access to its swimming pool, located just a short and pleasant walk from the hotel. 

Our sincere apologies. As this maintenance requirement arose unexpectedly, we sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause during your stay. Our team and specialist contractors are committed to completing the restoration work as swiftly and discreetly as possible. We thank you for your kind understanding and greatly appreciate your flexibility.

 

Sauna area
The newly redesigned sauna area impresses with timeless and calming equipment and unique baroque design elements that reflect the Dresden cityscape. The two Finnish saunas inspire with special eye-catchers, such as a copper kettle for aroma infusions, an oversized clock by C.H. Wolf/Glashütte that is embedded in the ceiling of the sauna, or the famous mural “Fürstenzug”. 
The steam bath and the infrared cabin warm and relax the body in a healing way and round off the wellness offer.

Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 10pm.
Friday to Sunday from 7am to 10pm.
