“PalaisGourmet“ event series: Taschenbergpalais Catering offers culinary highlights at Albrechtsberg Castle

Dresden, 23 June 2023 – Since January 2023, the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden has been undergoing extensive renovations, but will re-open gradually from the end of the year. Although this means a long wait for guests, the hotel team also misses looking after guests at events and conferences, or when fine dining in the inner courtyard or enjoying tartlets in the lobby.

Now the Taschenbergpalais, which specialises in staging culinary experiences, has developed a new event series “PalaisGourmet“ and invites guests to an exclusive BBQ evening at Albrechtsberg Palace. Guests can indulge in the barbecue skills of the Taschenbergpalais catering team.

The events take place at Albrechtsberg Castle, one of the most beautiful historical locations in the city. With its impressive architecture and picturesque location high above the Elbe, the castle provides a dreamlike scenery. Singer Anne Großhäuser and guitarist Richard Fuhrmann will provide a musical framework for the evening, spanning the spectrum from soul to pop to jazz.

“Albrechtsberg Palace is the perfect location for our culinary guest performance PalaisGourmet,” explains hotel director Marten Schwass. “The magnificent south terrace and foyer and garden hall make every event a special one. In case of inclement weather, we can switch to the fantastic Crown Hall. Here, too, our guests can enjoy a wonderful evening with the finest culinary delights.“

The menu for the Mediterranean grill buffet showcases the high standards of the catering team. In addition to marinated corn poulard, grilled vegetables and prime rib of meadow beef, swordfish steaks are put on the grill, to be combined with treats such as truffled oven-baked potatoes, crispy Pane Maggiore and Risoni salad. Summery, fresh desserts and crêpes round off the evening.

The enjoyable evenings will begin at 7 p.m., but can start at your own front door! AIS Dresden GmbH, which operates the Lexus Forum Dresden, will pick up a limited number of guests from their homes at no extra charge, provided registration has been made. This also offers a good opportunity to speak with the drivers about the Toyota brand and its luxury brand Lexus. Three premium vehicles, including the all-electric Lexus RZ model, will be presented at the event.

The Taschenbergpalais Caterer's “PalaisGourmet“ event series will take place on a Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.: on 6 July and on 10 and 17 August. Tickets cost 89 euros and include all meals, as well as beer, wine and soft drinks.

Bookings can be made directly online via the voucher shop.

Alternatively, reservations can be made at [email protected] or by telephone 0351 4912 800, where you can also request the shuttle service.
