Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz Continues To Support Inspire Foundation With Fundraising Initiatives

Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz is delighted to announce its second-year-round fundraising campaign in support of the Inspire Foundation. Following the overwhelming success of last year’s initiative, the hotel is committed to making an even greater impact on the lives of children and adults with disabilities throughout Malta and Gozo. This year’s campaign seeks to build upon the generosity of guests, patrons, and the local community to provide essential support and services to those in need.

Inspire Foundation is a prominent not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals with disabilities and their families. The Foundation’s various programs encompass education, therapy, and leisure services, aiming to enhance quality of life and promote inclusion within the community.

Since its inception, Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz has placed social responsibility at the core of its values, recognising the significance of giving back to the community. By forging a meaningful partnership with the Inspire Foundation, the hotel takes immense pride in contributing to the betterment of society and fostering a positive impact.

Ms Ruth Abellan, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, expressed her excitement for the second year of this collaboration, saying, “We are honoured to continue our partnership with the Inspire Foundation and extend our support to those in our community who need it most. The success of last year’s fundraising initiative has been truly inspiring, and we are eager to make an even greater difference this time around.”

Guests staying at or making use of any of the services provided by the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz in Gozo will have the opportunity to donate €1 per night or more as part of their final bill. This initiative is optional for the guests and donations collected are passed along to Inspire on a monthly basis.

Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz is a luxurious five-star hotel offering a serene retreat amidst stunning natural landscapes, located on the picturesque island of Gozo. The hotel boasts elegant accommodations, fine dining experiences, and a range of world-class amenities, ensuring an unforgettable stay for every guest.

“We believe that the success of this initiative lies in the collective efforts of our esteemed clients and guests, and every contribution, no matter how big or small, will be invaluable in supporting the Inspire Foundation’s endeavours,” Ms Ruth Abellan.

“We are truly grateful for this initiative that forms part of Kempinski’s international Corporate Social Responsibility commitment. Our strategy over the coming years is to expand our reach to be able to support an increasing number of persons with disability and their families as we help prepare these individuals for inclusion and full participation in society and ultimately improve their quality of life. We are planning to do so through the launch of several newly developed services. To date, Kempinski has succeeded in collecting over €10,000 and these funds will be invaluable to help us achieve our goal” said Antonello Gauci, Inspire Foundation Chief Executive Officer.
