The Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace successfully launched the BE Health programme

The Kempinski Hotels' Corporate Social Responsibility Programme has debuted in Mongolia, starting with its implementation at the Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace. Recognizing the pivotal role of health for individuals and communities, Kempinski has initiated the BE Health program. This program aims to raise health awareness and conduct preventive health activities globally, fostering engagement with local communities.

On 9 April, under the BE Health vision, Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace launched a programme targeting oral hygiene prevention and care for children from rural area. Mr. Tamir Tsolmon (General Manager), H.E. Dr. Stefanie Burri (Director of Cooperation and Consular), and Mrs. Khulan.D (Chairwoman of Tavan Bogd Group) delivered opening remarks, signifying the hotel's commitment to promoting oral health in Ulaanbaatar. The event advocates community engagement, supports charitable programs, and encourages health-related preventive initiatives in workplaces and living communities.

As part of this event, a donation of MNT nine million, raised through one US dollar per night per stay of hotel guests in 2024, was handed over to Ms. Gabriella Schmidt-Corsitto, the founder of Misheel Kids Foundation. Over the course of the partnership, the hotel has donated over MNT 50 million in cash and non-cash contributions towards promoting children's oral health over the past four years.

Since its establishment in 2015, the "Misheel Kid's Foundation" in Mongolia has played a crucial role in delivering oral hygiene education and dental care to underprivileged children. Through partnerships with nine orphanages and daycare centers in Ulaanbaatar, the foundation has positively impacted around 1,000 children, providing comprehensive dental services from prevention to restoration. The foundation conducts mobile clinics four times a year in urban areas, serving children from low-income families, and offers semiannual mobile dental treatments in remote regions of Mongolia. Furthermore, the foundation's representative announced a forthcoming initiative—a new dental care centre to be opened soon in Chingeltei District.

Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace remains resolute in its dedication to advancing dental healthcare initiatives. We eagerly anticipate continuing our partnership with the community, striving towards a healthier and brighter future for all.
