Tobogganing enthusiasts of all ages find exciting runs around Kitzbühel and Jochberg. Depending on the route, you can either enjoy a leisurely winter walk through the snow-covered mountain landscape or take a quick lift ride to the top. The tobogganing adventure starts from there and leads for kilometres through the snow-covered forests and mountains - sometimes a little steeper and faster or a little gentler and more relaxed. The perfect winter adventure for everyone, away from the busy ski slopes. You can hire your toboggan and other equipment from our hotel's Alpine Sports Shop and get started straight away. Our Tobogganing Guide

Trattenbachalm
With a length of 5.5 kilometres, the Trattenbachalm route is the longest toboggan run near Jochberg. The natural toboggan run can be used during the day in good snow conditions. It takes around 2.5 hours to walk up the mountain through the snow-covered winter landscape along the toboggan run with a sledge in tow. Once you reach the top, it's worth having a break at the Trattenbachalm and taking in the stunning Alpine panorama. Well refreshed, you can speed back down the groomed track for 620 metres in altitude and return to the starting point.

Kelchalm 
The Kelchalm natural toboggan run is located between Kitzbühel and Jochberg. Starting directly from the car park, it takes about 2 hours to climb the 520 metres in altitude to the Kelchalm in good snow conditions. After a refreshment stop, the toboggan run takes you through the snow-covered forests and back down again with a remarkable view.

Gaisberg
The toboggan run on the Gaisberg is not far from Kitzbühel. The Gaisberg lift takes you up to the starting point, which is right at the top of the mountain. From there, you head down the well-groomed and winding toboggan run. The route leads past several mountain huts, which invite you to take a short break. After 3.5 km and 430 metres in altitude, you return to the Gaisberg lift. The highlight for all night owls is the floodlit route, which promises a tobogganing adventure even in the dark.
