Mini concert series at The Living Room

Synonymous with joie de vivre and art, Kempinski Hotel launched a musical initiative called Kempinski Concertini across the world in 2017 to mark the 120th anniversary of Kempinski Hotels. These concerts take place at Kempinski hotels worldwide and introduce young classical musical talents, offering a stage for young artists from the local community and providing discerning guests with exclusive and sophisticated musical entertainment.  

Kempinski Concertini at Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest takes place at The Living Room, our intimate and cosy lounge café, in a luxurious and comfortable setting, each Saturday afternoon. Savour scrumptious cakes and Champagne or impeccable Budapest Afternoon Tea service and while away a weekend afternoon enjoying curated music in an intimate environment in the heart of the city; it’s only available to a select few. Finger sandwiches with artisanal ingredients, tempting Hungarian dessert selections and Ronnefeldt Tea make this experience a unique one.

Supporting the students and young graduates of the world-famous Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, our mini-series of concerts gives future talent a unique opportunity and features a range of genres. The repertoire includes violin and piano concertos, as well as flute, guitar and cello concertos. The young musicians impress with virtuoso interpretations of works by the likes of Brahms, Mozart, Liszt, Bartók, Schubert, Chopin and Debussy, and even by pop singers and bands like Coldplay, Adele and Shade.

These gatherings bring not just artists and their audiences face-to-face but also the local community and our international guests together.
