Membership Terms & Conditions (effective as of 1 April 2023)

1. The membership Kempinski Corvinus Circle is on invitation basis by the Kempinski Hotel Budapest Zrt executive management. Your membership card will be sent to you in an electronic version, which needs to be shown to the employees before using the services to receive the benefits offered.

2. If you wish to have a guest account, please note that prior approval is required by the Hotel’s credit manager. Please apply for the guest account by phone: +36 1 429 3577 or E-mail to [email protected].

After approval, we ask you to provide us your credit/debit card details by filling out the registration form. In accordance with the PCI Data Security Standards, the full credit/debit card number should be communicated to the Reception of the Hotel upon the first usage of your membership account personally by way of physically saving the number in the Hotel’s accounting system. The form (with only the last 4 digits of the credit/debit card) shall be filled out, signed and handed over to the Receptionist. You are kindly requested to settle your account before the end of each month. Should there be an outstanding amount on your guest account on the last day of the month in subject, the Hotel will charge the amount to the given credit card. An invoice will be sent to you.

2.1. In case no guest account is opened, you will still be entitled to the above-mentioned discounts. However, you are kindly requested to always settle your invoice on the spot, after the consumption, and no guest account will be available for you.

2.2. Reductions will be given on presentation of a membership card and a signature from the guest. In the case of a guest account, the reduced amount will be added to the member’s guest account. If there is no guest account, the consumption has to be settled on the spot.

2.3. In case of a credit/debit card authorisation, our invoice will be issued on the last business day of the relevant month by debiting the card simultaneously. For amounts above HUF 100,000 gross (in words: one hundred thousand forints), the invoice can automatically be made out to the guest and is payable on the spot. Should the member not allow automatic debit to his/her card at the end of the month, the bill is due after consumption on the spot and is payable by cash or credit/debit card.

3. The membership card is only valid for the person in whose name it was issued. In case of table reservations, discounts can be applied up to a party of maximum six persons in total (except Nobu where the maximum number of persons is four).

4. The above-mentioned discounts and offers are discretionary and may be withdrawn or changed by hotel any time without prior notice.

5. A change of personal data and credit/debit card details must be announced to the Hotel immediately, otherwise, the member’s account may be closed.

6. Members of the Kempinski Corvinus Circle can propose candidates for membership, the final decision is made at the discretion of the hotel management.

7. Membership validity is indicated on the card or until revoked by the hotel management e.g. in case of non-payment of any used service for more than 60 days from the date of Hotel’s invoice.

8. In case of loss of the virtual card details, you are kindly requested to inform the hotel immediately in order to have your guest account closed, to avoid any unpermitted usage and to receive a new membership card number.
