Following a long-standing tradition, the Baltschug Kempinski Hotel hosts its Oktoberfest from late September to early October.

Oktoberfest is a celebration of taste, tradition and vibrant emotions that brings thousands of people together annually, not only in its homeland of Bavaria but all around the world.

 

Special Oktoberfest menu

From 20 September to 5 October

The special Oktoberfest menu at the Baltschug Kempinski Hotel is available from 20 September to 5 October and features a variety of traditional beer snacks. These include Bavarian potato salad with aromatic bacon and a tangy dressing (RUB 950), a farmer's assortment of pickles with sauerkraut and pickled cucumbers (RUB 550), a Bavarian specialty – Obatzda cheese spread with a pretzel (RUB 950) and crispy garlic croutons with ranch sauce (RUB 450).

Main dishes include an aromatic pork knuckle, slow-cooked in beer and roasted until crispy, served with Bavarian sauerkraut (RUB 2,450); glazed BBQ beef ribs with a spicy tomato sauce (RUB 1,050); chicken wings in a spicy Buffalo sauce (RUB 950); and an assortment of German sausages and kupaty (spiced Eastern European sausages) with sauces and potato wedges (RUB 1,950).

For sharing, there is a beer platter with onion rings, chicken strips, cheese sticks, calamari rings, French fries and a vegetable crudité, served with a choice of sauces (RUB 1,250). The sweet finale of Oktoberfest menu is a traditional German dessert: warm apple strudel with a delicate vanilla sauce (RUB 750). A freshly baked pretzel can be ordered separately (RUB 350).

Guests can enjoy draught Ayinger beer – a premium beer brewed according to ancient recipes. The Oktoberfest menu is available from 20 September to 5 October at the Kranzler Café and the Lobby Lounge Bar.
