The ranking was determined through an open vote involving more than 500 of the country’s leading entrepreneurs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, chefs and industry experts.

This recognition is particularly meaningful as voting was conducted anonymously, based solely on personal preferences and expert impressions. Hotels were evaluated without regard to star rating, price category or location. Instead, experts considered a unique combination of factors: the property’s history and architecture, distinctive atmosphere, quality of service, value for money and memorable experiences associated with the hotel.

The ‘Top 50 Best Hotels of Russia’ list by 50 Best Tastes of Russia is compiled from votes cast by 500 Russian experts and opinion leaders across business and cultural sectors. Voting was conducted between June and August 2025, under strict principles of independence and objectivity. Experts were
prohibited from voting for their own projects, and results were aggregated without any reference to
