Estepona, 11 November 2022 - Kempinski Hotel Bahía, a luxury beachfront resort in Estepona – Marbella, adds another two esteemed awards to its portfolio, as it’s been awarded ‘Luxury Garden Resort, Global’ and ‘Beach Club Dining’ for Spiler Beach Club at the prestigious World Luxury Awards.

The World Luxury Awards celebrates and awards excellence in the hospitality industry across the world. With only the best venues in the world recognised, the awards programme aims to foster growth, innovations and the best practice on a global scale. Votes are cast by professionals working within the hospitality industry, and by the public.

“All the team of Kempinski Hotel Bahía are delighted to have been acknowledged for their dedication and professionalism by the World Luxury Awards. Such awards not only place the hotel on an international stage but also assure guests that we are striving to make their stay and experience with us perfect,” stated Lars Pursche, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Bahía.

Kempinski Hotel Bahía was awarded ‘Luxury Garden Resort’ based on its extensive gardens of over 40,000 sq m adorned with mature palm trees, subtropical and indigenous foliage, lawns and sweeping pathways, as well as three large swimming pools, and with its uninterrupted beachfront views of the Mediterranean Sea, it is the ideal location to relax and enjoy this piece of paradise. The gardens are also home to a 16th-century watch tower of great historical importance to Andalucía’s culture and heritage. Kempinski Hotel Bahía opened in 1999 and was designed by Melvin Villarroel, who was one of Andalucía’s most renowned architects.

Also celebrating a win is Spiler Beach Club, a key beachfront venue on the Costa del Sol, which won the accolade for the best ‘Beach Club Dining’. The cool, casual beach restaurant and bar right next to the sea features our favourites, from open-fire Argentinian grill dishes, daily fresh-fish offers, oysters and crudos to the best burgers and superfoods on the coast. Redesigned in 2018, the beach club also offers both guests and visitors the ‘Day Club’ experience with its luxurious sun beds and access to the pools, gardens and gym.
